e~Funds For Schools is a secure payment method that allows funds to be automatically withdrawn electronically from your checking account, or charged to your credit card. You also have the flexibility to pay, at anytime, through the school's website or by touch-tone phone as alternate methods. e~Funds For Schools will help to eliminate last minute check writing hassles, improve efficiency, and help cut costs for both you and your school. Plus, you will no longer need to worry that your children could lose the money that you give them or that they might spend it on unintended items.
Once you have completed the steps to set up your account, you can begin making electronic payments. You may select any of the payment options to pay, including the reoccurring payment option, saving you even more time and money.
Question: Is this online payment system secure?
Answer: Yes! E-Funds for Schools understands parents’ concerns regarding the safety and security of their financial information. In order to provide the maximum protection in safeguarding each parent’s banking information, e-Funds for Schools uses the “Ultimate Security Service” to process credit card payments as well as payments submitted through the touch tone phone system. All credit card and bank data is encrypted and cannot be viewed by any school employee.
Question: Do I have to pay a convenience fee if I make payments online?
Answer: There is a $1.00 processing fee to make payments through e-Funds for Schools. Credit card and debit cards are also charged a 1.99% convenience fee for processing through the “Ultimate Security Service” payment processing system (This is the lowest cost in the industry). Your debit card charges actually go thru the credit card system, so you would be charged a convenience fee even though you are paying directly from your checking account.
Question: Can I pay for school lunches, athletic fees, or even sweatshirt sales on the school’s website?
Answer: Not yet. We’re working on adding all types of payments to this program, but we’re only able to allow meal payments at this time. Keep watching for updates, though!
Question: If I have overpaid fees for some reason, can I receive a credit to my account electronically through this system?
Answer: The company is working on that functionality for the future, but for now if you are due a refund of fees (we only refund amounts over $1) we will cut a check to you.
Question: Can I set up an automatic payment for my child’s lunch account?
Answer: Yes. After setting up a schedule for payments on our website, you will be notified via email for each transaction as a warning that you have scheduled that payment. If you need to stop the scheduled payment, you must do so before midnight that same day.
Question: Will this new system keep track of all payments that I have made to the school district for the entire year and for all of my children?
Answer: Yes and Yes!

Question: Can I pay for all of my children’s lunches, registration fees, or other items all at the same time on the same payment?
Answer: Yes, when we get the system set up for fees other than meals – and the system will track what amount and items you have paid for each child.
